Near Moss Farm: Booking Conditions
- Upon the owner (Near Moss Farm Ltd) issuing a holiday confirmation
from the property to the holidaymaker, a binding contract shall exist between
the holidaymaker and the owner subject to these conditions.
- Cancellation of the holiday after the balance has been paid.
The owner has the right not to reimburse the deposit or the balance if a
further booking cannot be obtained for the property. This applies to any
bookings, including short breaks. Deposits are not reimbursed on cancellation
of the holiday if cancelled before the balance is due, if a further booking
cannot be obtained.
- A holiday confirmation form will be issued to the holidaymaker
upon receipt by the owner of a completed holiday booking form together with
a deposit of £75 for each week the property is booked. The balance
of the rental shall be paid to the owner 28 days prior to the commencement
of the holiday. Failing to do so reserves the owner the right to cancel
the holiday booking and to forfeit the deposit paid by the holidaymaker
who shall have no claim for reimbursement whatever.
- Booking forms received by the owner in respect of holidays
due to commence within 6 weeks thereafter must be accompanied by payment
of the full rental charge for the holiday period required subject to availability.
- Immediately upon receipt of the holiday confirmation from
the owner, the holidaymaker should check the details and notify the owner
of any correction as soon as possible.
- The cottages are available from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival
until 10.00 am on the morning of departure. Please telephone to advise your
time of arrival.
- The holidaymaker should notify the owner immediately and in
writing of any intention to cancel the holiday booking.
- During the period of the holiday, the holidaymaker undertakes:
- That the number of people occupying the property will
be the same as listed on the booking form.
- That the property will be used solely for the purpose
of a holiday by the holidaymaker and party.
- To allow the owner or representatives access to the property
at any reasonable time during the period of the holiday.
- To keep the property and all the furniture, utensils,
equipment, fixtures and fittings in or on the property in the same state
of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday, and to
ensure that at the end of the holiday the property is left in the same
order and cleanliness in which it was found. To report any damage or
breakages to the owner and reimburse with the cost of replacement. All
cottages will be inspected prior to departure and a £45 cleaning
charge may be made if the cottage is in an unsatisfactory condition.
- To notify all other members of the holidaymaker's party
of these conditions.
- That the number of people occupying the property will
be the same as listed on the booking form.
- Pets - Dogs only allowed by prior appointment.
